Bilingual Therapist Outpatient, FSP, Wraparound $2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS!!!!

The Help Group is currently looking for dynamic Bilingual Therapists to work in our innovative Outpatient, FSP, and Wraparound programs at our Van Nuys and Culver City locations. Ideal candidates will be seasoned professionals with DCFS and court system experience, expertise in crisis intervention and experience providing treatment to children and adolescents with a wide range of psychological, emotional and behavioral problems.

Minimum Qualifications

• MA, MSW, MFT, LCSW, Psy.D. or Ph.D. in psychology, counseling, social work or related field
• Registered intern or CA licensed therapist
• Two years clinical experience with children and families; experience providing home based counseling services preferred
• Minimum one year experience working with multiple-issue families (unemployment, poverty, substance abuse, homelessness)
• Fluency in Spanish required
• Working knowledge of DMH documentation
• For Outpatient Programs: DMH-Certified in at least one of the following EBP’s (Triple P, Seeking Safety, TFCBT, CPP, MAP)
• For Wrap and FSP programs: ability to work evening hours at least 2 days/week
• Valid CA Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Agency’s insurance carrier

Essential Duties

• Provide individual and/or family assessment and clinical support to children who are at risk of abuse and/or neglect and children with severe emotional difficulties
• Provide individual /family treatment in both home/community-based settings, as well as within an office environment to children and adolescents with a wide range of psychological, emotional and behavioral problems
• Provide group treatment, parent support groups, and parenting education classes Ensure 24-hour availability and crisis intervention on an as needed basis
• Maintain client charts and meet all DMH paperwork deadlines requirements
• Participate in all mandatory department and agency meetings and trainings
