Triple Quest targets the Base of the Pyramid market and provides sustainable products and solutions to the billions of people who live in poverty. The Triple Quest President/CEO is responsible for expanding a Base of the Pyramid channel to market with the first product being the Hydraid BioSand Filter. The Hydraid BioSand Filter technology has been fully developed and has health impact studies that document the efficacy of the product.

Role Summary: 
The role is responsible for the development of all business unit strategies in addition to owning and executing the business plan. Further, he or she will manage all aspects of business including: sales, forecasting, financial modeling, profit and loss, order management, quality control, logistics accounting and customer support. A key element of the role is to implement and manage the carbon financing strategy.

This position will supervise and manage business unit staff members in the United States and internationally, including the Hydraid BioSand Filter entrepreneurship models located in Central America and Western Africa. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of experience leading an organization with particular expertise in carbon financing and/or water issues. The ideal candidate must also be able to ensure that Triple Quest maintains an open, inclusive and an innovative culture.

General Responsibilities: 
-Develop, maintain and execute the business plan
-Plan and direct sales and marketing activities to attain maximum sales volume and develop maximum potential volume for the company’s products and /or services
-Responsible for the day to day operation of the business unit
-Responsible for the Profit and Loss statement of the business unit.
-Maintain marketing strategy
-Manage PR opportunities and risks
-Oversee the Hydraid Bio Sand Filter Base of the Pyramid carbon projects
-Work with NGO’s, government agencies/officials and Non-Profits to create markets and opportunities for the sale and use of the Hydraid BioSand Filter
-Engage stakeholders in a dialogue around water issues, entrepreneurship and carbon
-Create training materials on clean water and the value of the Hydraid BioSand Filter
-Ensure that the company’s organizational design supports the company’s mission, vision and corporate strategy
-Ensure the culture of the organization is strong and vibrant

Liaison with Board
-Helps the Board determine the company’s values, mission, vision, and short- and long-term goals
-Dialogues with the Board on the formulation of policies and the establishment of practices that provide control and a plan of operation
-Utilizes and coordinates the collective experience and resources available through the Board
-Keeps the Board informed with respect to all aspects of the operations of the organization
-Provides reports and related information as required to the Board, other designated organizations and individuals, and appropriate regulatory agencies

Sales Responsibilities:
-Develop carbon financing modeling and strategy
-Responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of the company’s Sales strategy
-Oversees all sales functions
-Ensures that the business has the sales team necessary to execute the sales plan

Carbon Project Management Responsibilities:
-Develop carbon financing modeling and strategy
-Oversee the development of multiple carbon project partners
-Oversee carbon buyers and negotiate future carbon funding

Channel to Market Responsibilities:
-Understand the Base of the Pyramid in the market countries
-Develop channel to market for the Hydraid BioSand Filter and other products
-Set up sales and distribution system for the Hydraid BioSand Filter and other products
-Manage relationship with distributors and channel partners
-Create and implement a plan to develop in-country micro-loan opportunities

Product Development Responsibilities:
-Oversee Hydraid BioSand filter quality assurance process
-Oversee Hydraid BioSand filter media strategy
-Oversee the development of new media for Hydraid projects
-Develop the next generation of the Hydraid BioSand Filter and products
-Develop product enhancements
-Find and develop other products to be used in the channel

Minimum Education, Experience and Core Competency Requirements: 
-MBA preferred, with demonstrated leadership role at a strategic level
-Strong financial background, with experience in carbon financing preferred
-Experience with water related issues at the Base of the Pyramid
-Comprehensive understanding of the Base of the Pyramid
-Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and communicate the vision
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills
-Quality control or testing experience
-Strong understanding of financial reports and budgeting
-Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
-Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
-Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
-Self-knowledge of capabilities and limitations
-Strong Project Management skills
-Ability to travel up to 25% for the time
-Must have a passport or the ability to obtain one within the standard timeframe
-Experience managing others
-Significant understanding of applicable laws, policies and safety regulations
