Full-Time Chief Technology Officer

Solstice Initiative – Posted by solsticeinitiative Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Job Description

Overview: While solar has the potential to power households across the United States, approximately four out of five American households are effectively locked out of the market for it. With that in mind, the mission of Solstice Initiative is to radically expand access to clean energy in the United States. Solstice accomplishes this by providing community-based solar energy to the 90 million American households that cannot currently access it. This model enables any household to benefit from a portion of a shared solar farm somewhere in their neighborhood—no upfront cost or rooftop installation required.

Solstice Initiative has received a host of accolades since its inception in 2014. The social enterprise has received awards from Echoing Green, Princeton University, Halcyon Incubator, Global Good Fund, and Cleantech Open. Its work has also been featured in Forbes, Huffington Post, and Fast Company and highlighted by the Obama White House.

We are a rapidly growing organization and are looking to fill the position below expeditiously.
