Full-Time Community Outreach Coordinator

Job Description

Position Overview: In anticipation of rapid organizational growth in the months ahead, we are looking for highly-
motivated individuals to expand our organization’s community outreach capabilities. The position is a results-
oriented role with significant opportunity for professional growth and autonomy.

Responsibilities will include:

• Designing and executing a data-driven sales strategy directed at helping Massachusetts households adopt

solar energy

• Conducting outreach to and building relationships with community organizations, including houses of

worship, workplaces, community centers, schools, and service organizations

• Interfacing with community leaders and stakeholders to help their networks switch to solar

• Conducting outreach to build awareness among Massachusetts households interested in renewable energy

• Interfacing with Solstice management team to align work product with company goals

• Supporting monitoring of progress to sales goals

This position will report to the CEO.

Qualifications for this role include:

• Previous professional experience in community organizing and/or outbound sales. Previous sales or

political campaign experience preferred, as is a comfort with public engagement.

• Ability to articulate Solstice’s value proposition to households and communities with passion and energy

• Knowledge of/relationships with community organizations in the state of Massachusetts

• Ability and willingness to travel on a frequent basis

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends

• Access to a car

• Extraordinary attention to detail, highly-motivated, creative, proactive, team-oriented, self-starting and

eager to work outside of an office setting.
