Job Description

We are thrilled to share that we are accepting applications for the 2015 IDEX Fellowship Cohort! The IDEX Fellowship is the pioneer of a global movement that aims to empower emerging leaders around the world to unleash their potential for creating impact. IDEX Fellows undergo six months of leadership and business development training by working full-time for social enterprises across India.

The ideal candidate has:
• Proven track record of leadership responsibilities;
• Demonstrated passion for social enterprise and improving quality of life for low-income communities;
• Ability to work in new and challenging environments with limited resources;
• Willingness to work with low-income populations in developing economies and demonstrated practical skills in relationship building, cultural sensitivity and thrive in a start-up environment;
• High interest in working in emerging markets;
• A passion and desire to work in emerging markets and use social enterprise principles to solve global issues;
• An ability to quickly adapt and work in resource constrained environments;
• Desire to engage in an intense professional development experience while applying; creative solutions to deepen impact;
• Committed to make an equity investment of time, energy and capital in their personal growth and professional development.

WHO DO WE LOOK FOR?
We are searching all corners of the world for fellows who are committed and passionate about working in the social impact space. We seek college graduates and professionals who have a proven track record of leadership and are seeking to use their education and skills to address social and economic challenges for under-served populations.
SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS
Through funding from generous sponsors, IDEX is able to offer a limited number of full and partial scholarships to select candidates for use towards the IDEX Fellowship program tuition. Scholarship deadline is March 1st, 2015. Late applications will not be considered. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to continuing work in the social enterprise sector.
