Residential staff – sign-on bonus $500.00

Founded in 1975, The Help Group is the largest, most innovative and comprehensive nonprofit of its kind in the United States serving children with special needs related to autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, developmental delays, abuse and emotional problems.

The Help Group is currently looking for bright, caring, enthusiastic Residential Staff to join our residential team to work in a group home setting that serves adults, ages 18+, with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Four homes, located in lovely North Hills neighborhoods, each serve 6 clients. 4 full time Residential Staff each facility. Experience with population desired but

WE WELCOME NEW COLLEGE GRADS AND WILL TRAIN.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
•Direct client care and supervision in a residential home setting
•Training, support and assistance with client personal care, activities of daily living, self-help skills, social skills, etc.
•Tracking and implementing behavioral programs/service plans
•Client and program documentation
•Developing, leading and supervising recreational activities, outings, and groups

Position includes transporting clients in agency vehicles. Candidates must possess valid CA driver’s license with a good driving record as well as good computer skills for electronic charting.

Full time 52 hour shift includes a 3 and a half day work week with 1 or 2 asleep overnights. Positions gross about $675 a week, as overtime and double time are built in to the schedules – plus there are often opportunities for additional hours. Excellent benefits package includes the following:
