FILD is a two year old company specializing in the permanent placement and staffing of technology professionals across the country. While we are still young, we would like to build socially responsible values and practices into our culture, embedding social impact into the FILD DNA. We are offering a six month fellowship to develop and implement the first steps of FILD’s social impact strategy. We are looking for a professional with philanthropic experience in either the for-profit or non-profit sectors who is also passionate about utilizing professional services and technology for social good.

The ideal candidate has a track record in project management, strategic thinking, collaboration and partnership. They are informed and aligned with best practice in the field of corporate social impact but also interested in innovative models and creative approaches to leveraging the full range of corporate resources for positive social impact.

Responsibilities :

• Program Developer and Manager: Working closely with the CFO and CEO, create a Year 1 framework for the company’s social mission strategy.
• Project Manager: As part of Year 1 framework, develop, implement and manage one – two pilot projects that would lay the groundwork for the company’s social mission. While the full range of our potential impact is important to us (sustainability, policies, practices), our first projects will focus specifically on corporate citizenship and community engagement.
• Ambassador: Develop a FILD culture of Social Mission. Represent FILD externally where opportunities present themselves at conferences, with current and prospective clients and candidates.
• Program Evaluator: Develop evaluation metrics, manage periodic evaluations of progress toward program objectives and develop recommendations regarding any appropriate strategic changes.

Experience:

• Minimum 2-4 years professional experience in the corporate philanthropy or institutional/corporate partnership management.
• Ability to lead initiatives and project teams. Successful project management experience.
• Enthusiastic interest in the social impact space and passionate about using the power of business to solve social and environmental problems.
• Open-minded and optimistic team player; willing to take initiative and eager to learn.
• Welcoming and positive communication style, professional phone manner, and strong writing skills.
• Organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Not Required, but nice to have:
• Participation in creation, management and evaluation of a corporate giving signature program and/or highly developed ability to think strategically about opportunities and challenges at the intersection of business and community needs.
