Full-Time The On Purpose Associate Programme (London, Paris and Berlin)

Job Description

We’re a community who put purpose before profit – professionals who get stuck in, find solutions and never think of work as ‘just a job’.

You can join our community through the Associate Programme, which provides the space you need to jump-start a purpose-led career. Past Associates have described it as ‘transformative’ and ‘crucial to helping me understand how I could apply my skills to something truly fulfilling’. Here’s how it works:

•Experience: You work in two purpose-oriented organisations for six months each – for example, tackling food waste with Fareshare or poverty with the Big Issue. You meet like-minded people and grapple with a variety of challenges.

•Support: Regular mentoring and coaching helps you to develop new skills and increase your impact. Not to mention the support of the rest of the community: ‘from mentors, coaches, our cohort, to the On Purpose team and broader network – the people element is invaluable’ (Clemence, past Associate).

•Inspiration: Every Friday afternoon, you receive training run by top professionals, from the Social Investment Business, McKinsey, the Design Council and more. The training introduces you to new ways of thinking and gives you the knowledge you need to excel in a purpose-oriented career.

You’re also supported financially: we provide a stipend of £22,500 for your year of training and development. After the programme, 90% of Associates continue to work in purpose-led organisations and they tell us that they are much happier in their jobs.

The programme is full-time, based in London and runs for 12 months from the 5th April 2017. Applications close on Monday 7th November 2016. Join us at one of our recruitment events on the 5th and 26th of October to get to know first-hand what the Associate Programme is about.

We’re also recruiting fluent French and German speakers for our Associate Programmes in Paris and Berlin.
