The Opportunity
Pioneer Human Services seeks a Vice President of Behavioral Health with proven expertise in operations balanced with experience in chemical dependency and mental health. The ideal candidate is a transformative leader that thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and enjoys creating, shaping and restructuring departments, programs and operations. The Vice President has ultimate operational responsibility for all behavioral health service delivery throughout the organization and provides exceptional leadership in assisting Pioneer with delivering on its ultimate mission of providing a chance for change measured by reducing recidivism.

The Vice President ensures the Behavioral Health Division’s operational success and financial sustainability. The ideal candidate will guide the division through strategic adjustment brought about by regulatory changes in Washington requiring the integration of chemical dependency and mental health services. In addition, the Vice President of Behavioral Health is an engaged and active member of the Senior Leadership team and contributes to Pioneer Human Services’ strategy.

The Behavioral Health Division consists of six residential treatment facilities, four permanent housing facilities, and seven outpatient locations served by some 250 employees and with revenue of approximately $20M.
