Internship Volunteer Graphic Designer

Job Description

80% of Rwandans, and over one billion people worldwide, live in homes with dirt floors. Dirt floors are just what you’d think: dirty. They become a breeding ground for mosquitos and parasites. But concrete floors are just too expensive for most Rwandan families.

EarthEnable is a nonprofit offering a solution – affordable, sanitary flooring that can be washed, cleaned, and create a healthy home environment for millions of people, at the fraction of the cost of concrete. Healthy floors have been shown to reduce the incidence of childhood diarrhea – one of the leading causes of childhood death in Rwanda – by 49% and parasitic infections by 78%.

EarthEnable is currently seeking a volunteer graphic designer on a short term basis, working remotely to support our team in Rwanda. Specific tasks will include working with us to improve the visuals of our product brochure and our annual report. Both these documents are short, so total time commitment over the month is likely to be around 8-10 hours. Ideally we would like to complete these two products by early-December.
