Founded in 1975, The Help Group is the largest, most innovative and comprehensive nonprofit of its kind in the United States serving adolescents and young adults with special needs related to autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, developmental delays, abuse and emotional problems.

We are currently seeking a bright, dynamic individual to join our Vocational Services team as a Workability 1 Coordinator . Person will work collaboratively with Help Group non-public school personnel, students, parents and community employers to provide and ensure coordination, implementation and oversight of all elements of the Workability program. Workability Coordinator will be involved in assessments, goal setting, reports and record keeping, job development, student training, supervision and coaching. Position involves working directly with students with a variety of special needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning and/or social/emotional/behavioral challenges.

Minimum Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in special education, vocational rehabilitation, psychology or related field preferred. Experience and ability to work well with high school students or young adults with special needs. Ability to develop job placements in the community for students and drive and accompany students to job sites. Valid California driver’s license with good driving record. Computer skills.
