Position Summary:

The Program Analyst works nationally and supports the Financial Services team’s efforts to provide loan capital, New Markets Tax Credits and pay-for-success investments to nonprofit organizations and social enterprises delivering products and services in areas such as education, health care, healthy foods and job training. The position entails internal and external client communication, data management and report preparation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

♣ Work closely with lenders across all NFF sectors and regions on loan opportunities to determine long-term fit with NFF mission and credit requirements.
♣ Responsible for supporting the loan origination process by analyzing applicant financial, project and management capacity and preparing loan recommendations.
♣ Manage and maintain database information and prepare qualitative and quantitative reports on all aspects of the Loan program. Responsible for monitoring cash flow.
♣ Assist in the preparation of marketing and other materials for workshops, presentations and conferences.

Essential Requirements for Education and/or Experience:

♣ Bachelor’s degree required with an interest in nonprofit administration and programs desired.
♣ 1 – 3 years of experience as an administrative or junior program professional in a nonprofit or financial services environment.

♣ Strong organizational skills, time management and multi-tasking abilities.
♣ Keen attention to detail and good trouble-shooting skills.
♣ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, as well as Word and PowerPoint), general knowledge of database systems and comfort in Web 2.0 technologies).

Specialized Knowledge/Beneficial Skills and Experience:

♣ Coursework or experience with an emphasis in business, finance or accounting a plus.
♣ Experience with Salesforce desired.
